Who is responsible
The Immigrants Yellow Pages (IYP) is responsible for the personal information described here. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to hello@immigrantsyellowpages.co.uk.
What we collect
Account holders may provide an email address, optional name, onboarding answers, city, checklist progress, saved notes, and completed tasks. Public forms may collect feedback, resource reports, or a reply email when a person chooses to provide one. We ask people not to submit passport, BRP, visa reference, health, banking, or full-address information.
Guests can use the guide without an account. Their answers and progress are stored in that browser and are not automatically available on another device.
Why we use it
We use account and guide information to provide the service a person requests. We use security records and carefully limited service feedback for our legitimate interests in protecting, maintaining, and improving IYP. Optional analytics are used only after consent and can be switched off below.
We do not sell personal information or use it for automated immigration decisions.
Optional analytics
Essential browser storage keeps a guest guide working. Analytics are optional and can be changed here at any time.
Services that help run IYP
IYP uses specialist providers for website hosting, database storage, account delivery, security, and optional analytics. Google Translate loads only when a visitor chooses the language tool. The constrained assistant sends only the question and relevant guide context to the configured AI provider; do not include sensitive personal information in a question.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this applies, we rely on the provider's lawful transfer safeguards and data-processing terms.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while the account is active. Security and feedback records are kept only as long as they remain useful for operating and improving IYP. Password-reset links expire quickly. Guests can clear local IYP data through their browser settings. Account holders can download or delete their data from My account.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your information, and to withdraw consent. Use My account or email us. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
