Vocational GCSE and V Level plans move forward
The government has outlined further plans for practical vocational study from age 14 and confirmed that the first V Levels are expected from September 2027.
What this means for you
Most of these qualifications are not available yet. Students choosing current courses should use their school or college's confirmed offer and treat the new routes as upcoming plans.
